Infant BabyWearing Safety
Due to the recent warnings by the U.S. CPSC and an advisory on sling carriers by Health Canada, Mother Me is advising new families to acquaint themselves with the rules and guidelines for safe babywearing provided by a Health Canada and an international nonprofit organization devoted to the practice of safe babywearing.
Babywearing International Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support.
This site provides information on the recent advisory by Consumer Product Safety Commission regarding baby sling safety as well as rules and guidelines for safe babywearing.
Health Canada also provides an advisory and information on the use of infant slings and soft infant carriers.
